According to the Ministry of Economy, the total investment in the UAE’s industrial sector at the end of the first half of 2017 was more than AED130 billion, an increase of 2 per cent from the previous year. The industrial sector contributed 16 per cent to UAE GDP in 2017, with the intention to increase it to 25 per cent by 2025.
