Cairo – Credit Agricole Egypt has obtained the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) approval to appoint Jean Pierre Trinelle as Managing Director representing Credit Agricole France.

Trinelle is replacing Pierre Francois Serge as of 11 January, the lender said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.

During the first nine months of 2020, Credit Agricole Egypt logged EGP 1.03 billion in net profits, down from EGP 1.86 billion in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
