Bupa Arabia to support the Saudi SMEs sector with a range of benefits and exceptional services

Jeddah: Bupa Arabia, the leading cooperative health insurance company, signed an agreement with Business Incubators and Accelerators Company (BIAC), a subsidiary of Saudi Technology Development and Investment Company (TAQNIA), in an effort to strengthen cooperation opportunities between the two companies and harness their expertise and potential for the benefit of BIAC’s clients.

This agreement presents a great opportunity for the companies to support Saudi business incubators and accelerators as well as entrepreneurship, motivate them to innovate, and provide an ideal platform to help them succeed in their business plans which is in line with the objectives of the National Transformation Program 2020 and the Kingdom's ambitious Vision 2030.

Mr. Mohammed Al Ajlan, Head of SME Sales Department (Central Region) at Bupa Arabia, commended the agreement and stated that it will strengthen and enhance collaboration between two national entities that share the same goals. The agreement will enable both parties to exchange knowledge and expertise in areas that are of great importance in refining, nurturing and supporting young Saudi talents.

Mr. Ali AlJadar, Head of SME Sales (Eastern Region) at Bupa Arabia, emphasized BIAC’s keenness to support Saudi entrepreneurs, highlighting, that a number of agreements were signed with several support services providers during GITEX 2019.

On their part, BIAC described this agreement as an important step towards attracting new job opportunities and creating a healthy working environment that will help SMEs to grow and strive for creativity and excellence.

According to the new agreement, all the business incubators and accelerators will benefit from Bupa Arabia’s exceptional services such as Rahatkom program, which is designed to make hospital experiences easier and less stressful for the clients through Bupa Arabia’s delegates presence in the hospital, in addition to, focusing on on-site case management, quick coverage responsiveness, and post-admission services.

Additionally, they will benefit from Tebtom Program, which covers a unique set of healthcare services that go beyond medical insurance, such as Bupa Arabia doctor, home-based vaccinations for kids, chronic medication refill and delivery, and home-based labs.

Furthermore, Bupa Arabia's sales representatives will contact the business incubators and accelerators to complete the procedures without the need to visit Bupa Arabia offices. This comes as part of the company’s efforts to provide the employees of the business incubators and their families with holistic healthcare services.

On another note, Bupa Arabia and BIAC with an objective to seek further support towards the promising Saudi projects, agreed to capitalize on Bupa Arabia’s long experience in the cooperative healthcare insurance field by offering a range of benefits for startups and SMEs. The benefits will include special discounts, and the opportunity to join the Bupa Mazaya program for free for the subscribers from high networks (5-6-7).

Bupa Arabia will also provide periodical workshops that aim to educate the attendees on Bupa Arabia’s various services and explain the best ways to benefit from healthcare insurance. The workshops will be arranged in BIAC’s offices in Jeddah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province.

In addition, the logo of the selected business incubators and accelerators will be printed on the medical insurance cards, this option, however, will be provided by Bupa Arabia for startups with over 100 employees. Moreover, a new Bupa Arabia email address will be created specifically to receive new applications from business incubators and accelerators.
