Saudi Al Yamamah Steel Industries has been awarded two contracts totaling 202,334,000 Saudi riyals ($54 million) by Larsen & Toubro Saudi Arabia for steel power transmission towers.

The transmission towers would be used for the ultra-high-voltage (UHV) transmission line projects, the Saudi firm said in two stock exchange statements.

The two contracts, worth 103,504,500 riyals ($27.6 million) for the Arar to Rafha UHV line, and worth 98,829,500 ($26 million) contract for the Rafha to Qaisumah UHV line would be delivered between May 2021 and July 2022, the statements said.
