HSBC Holdings Plc planned to develop Nansha HSBC Bank Global Training Center Project in Nansha, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. Guangzhou Nanshi Investment Co Ltd signed the Cooperative Development Agreement with HSBC. The contract specified that the development would be costumed, and the roughcast would be delivered. The contract type was not disclosed. The project covered the construction of a training center that was expected to provide training for about 14000 HSBC employees and senior managers per year in the Asia Pacific region. This project would not only be HSBC’s first global training center but also become a hub to attract more financial talents in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao area. It would facilitate the Belt and Road Initiative and promote business connections and cooperation in that area.
