Background

Guangde International Group LDA planned to develop Cacuaco New Energy Project, in Cacuaco, Luanda, Angola. The project aimed to build a lead storage battery factory in the northern Angolan town of Cacuaco, covering an area of 50000 square meters. The output was 1200000 batteries per year and the company might invest USD 220 million more and take on 400 to 700 more workers to raise the annual output to 7000000 batteries by 2022.
