Dubai: H.E Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, and H.E Abdulla Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General, DGHR Department, today opened the 20th edition of Ru’ya - Careers UAE Redefined, the UAE’s leading recruitment and training exhibition for Emirati youth, at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Reinforcing the rapidly increasing and diverse employment opportunities for Emiratis in both the public and private sectors, the 20th edition of Ru’ya - Careers UAE Redefined runs until 17 November and is open daily from 10am-6pm.

The first day of the event is welcoming thousands of job seekers including high school students, college graduates, and those looking to switch career paths. The assembled job seekers will experience three zones at the enhanced show: ‘Dare to begin,’ ‘Dare to be fearless,’ and ‘Dare to shine’, with each zone featuring activations to help jobseekers explore their personal strengths and interests, and tap into expert advice on where and how they can upsell themselves.

Attendees were also invited to unwind at RollDXB, an exclusive pop-up by the homegrown roller-skating concept, or plunge themselves into a live interview studio to interact with employment consultants.

Day one of the event is hosting exclusive sessions for job seekers, including the HSBC Youth Majlis, the story of the UAE Hope Probe Mission to Mars, and a panel discussion with Dubai Police’s K9 team, while personal development sessions focused on Opportunities in the Private Sector; Skills Needed to Prepare for the Future; and Building a Robust Personal Brand in a Competitive Market.

Organisations from over 80 leading public and private sector organisations are at the event, offering a diverse portfolio of internship opportunities and professional roles in industries ranging from finance, education &

training, to IT & technology, retail, and telecommunications among others. Major participants include Al Rostamani Group, Amazon, KPMG, Dell, Deliveroo, DP World, du, Etisalat, Emirates General Petroleum Corp (Emarat), Majid Al Futtaim, and Standard Chartered Bank, amongst others.

Day two and three of Ru’ya - Careers UAE Redefined will feature more sessions with inspirational figures pushing boundaries in ‘Urbaneer’ – the show’s series of thought-provoking talks.
