Srinivasa: We seek to provide our customers with an integrated shopping experience combining advanced payment solutions and exclusive offers

We are committed to providing the most advanced payment solutions to give our customers an exceptional banking experience reflecting our leadership

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) strives to provide the latest and most advanced digital payment solutions, which contribute to meet its customers’ daily needs in a quick and easy way. In this context, and in cooperation with Shamiya Co-op, the bank provides Smart Payment Solution using NBK Credit Cards by scanning the cards on the assigned reader on the supermarket trolleys.

Through this service, customers will be able to save the time of waiting in checkout lines to pay for their purchases, thus enjoy a faster and seamless shopping experience.

NBK is the first bank in Kuwait to introduce this kind of advanced payment solutions for its customers.

On this occasion, Mr. Prasad Srinivasa, Head of Payment Acceptance and Customer Loyalty, Consumer Banking Group, National Bank of Kuwait, said: “We are committed to provide the latest and most advanced digital payment solutions, giving our customers an exquisite banking experience that reflects NBK’s leadership and tremendous potentials.”

“We seek to offer our customers an exceptional and integrated shopping experience by providing the most advanced payment solutions in Kuwait, combined with unique and exclusive offers,” he added.

NBK continues to provide the most innovative banking services in Kuwait, aiming to maintain its digital excellence and to satisfy the needs of all its customers in a quick and easy way, he affirmed.

Srinivasa pointed out that NBK aims to expand the provision of advanced digital payment solutions by including all co-ops and supermarkets, to ensure that all the bank’s customers enjoy the same experience.

NBK cares to provide an integrated shopping experience, as seen in the various exceptional offers provided for its customers during Ramadan. These offers included up to 15% cashback when using digital payment solutions (Samsung Pay, Garmin Pay & Fitbit Pay), and a 5% cashback when using eligible NBK Credit Cards, to pay for their purchases from all co-ops in Kuwait, in cooperation with the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies (UCCS).

NBK Credit Cards are the best method to make payments, giving customers the utmost convenience, as well as access to many benefits, especially when using their credit card in shopping, including NBK Rewards Program, NBK Miles Program, NBK Secure Shopping, and extended warranty, among many other benefits.
