Cairo, Egypt:– MARAKEZ, one of the largest mixed-use developers in Egypt, has opened a new Civil Registry Office in its newest shopping destination, Town Center, in East Cairo.

Town Center is located at the intersection of the Ring Road and Ismailia-Cairo Road, which is one of the most important intersection in Greater Cairo linking the mall to various neighbourhoods in Greater Cairo including New Cairo, Ismailia, Sherouk, Obour, Nasr City, Heliopolis as well as other governorates. Located near the new Adly Mansour Metro station and the electric train, Town Center attracts visitors coming from neighbouring governorates for its wide range of retail shops and entertainment activities in its 64,000 sqm premises. Town Center is now aiming to facilitate multiple governmental services to the 2 million people living and working in the vicinity.

The newly opened Civil Registry Office is located in the mall, open weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm, and offers a wide variety of governmental services in a hassle-free environment. Services include issuing birth, marriage, divorce, and/or death certificates, as well as renewing one’s National ID or issuing one for the first time.

In addition, Town Center is preparing to welcome a Commercial Registry Office in the near future. It will offer several important government services such issuing and updating commercial registers, issuing data certificates and negative certificates, delivering all demands of Misr El Raqameya’s portal registering, searching the entry in the commercial registry, providing information and evidence for a commercial register, providing single registration renewal, and registry of a facility that is not listed. The expansion of governmental services across MARAKEZ’s commercial properties in Egypt stems from an ongoing collaboration between ITDA, the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade and MARAKEZ.
