Manama, Bahrain: Jewellery Arabia 2019, the Middle East’s premier jewellery and watch exhibition, is set to return to the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre from 19 – 23 November 2019. This prestigious 28th edition is held annually under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

Spanning 21,000 square metres of exhibition space, a huge array of jewellery, watches, gems and luxury accessories will go on sale to members of the public and trade. Open free of charge, show organisers Informa Markets anticipate an attendance of over 55,000 visitors during the 5 day event.

Jewellery Arabia’s first-time partnership with Careem will offer visitors special discounts to and from the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, thus making their visit more enjoyable and hassle-free.

Visitors will be welcomed by over 561 local, regional and international exhibitors who will launch new product lines, display their latest collections and introduce limited edition pieces exclusively at Jewellery Arabia 2019.

This year’s edition will also see the launch of its first ever mobile app. Easy to use, Jewellery Arabia attendees will be able to search for brands and jewellery products they are interested in, along with an attractive 3D map feature helping to navigate the event easily.

“A healthy increase in attendee numbers, coupled with sustained participation from exhibitors and strong sales reflects Jewellery Arabia’s continuing strength in the Middle East and its position as a leading event in the global industry calendar,” commented show organiser Informa Markets’ Director of Sales and Marketing Fawzi Al Shehabi on the success of the last edition of Jewellery Arabia.

Renowned watch and jewellery houses will be making a return appearance at Jewellery Arabia 2019, including leading brands such as Al Zain Jewellery, Heinz Mayer, Al Mahmood Pearls and many others. These high profile international exhibitors use the event as a platform to showcase exclusive collections and limited edition pieces to the Middle East collectors’ market.

Complementing these iconic brands are national groups from leading jewellery export countries. New for 2019, a Moroccan pavilion will be introduced along with the show’s large and returning delegations of the finest retailers, designers and manufacturers from China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Collectively, these groups reflect the very best manufacturing capabilities, design expertise and gemological resources that their respective countries have to offer.

Joining international brands and national groups are a host of designers, retailers and manufacturers from 36 countries worldwide.

Visitors can also enjoy free-to-attend daily jewellery education seminars led by world’s foremost authority on gemmology, the Gemmological Institute of America (GIA).

Learning will also be part of the experience at Jewellery Arabia. Attendees will be able to partake in the discovery of gold through an onsite museum at the Arihant Jewellers’ stand. Additionally, the museum will feature gold ATM kiosks where the precious metal prices can be viewed in real time as well as large gold and silver bars worth US$1 million.
