CMA CGM donates 50,000 masks to Lebanon and flies in rapid tests for the Lebanese government

These masks will be delivered on April 3rd to Rafic Hariri Governmental Hospital, Hôtel de Dieu de France, Lebanese Red Cross and to the Lebanese Army

  

CMA CGM Group makes a donation of 50 000 FFP2 type masks, worth 250 000 $, and currently out of stock in Lebanon, in order to overcome the Covid-19 epidemic.

These masks will be delivered on April 3rd to Rafic Hariri Governmental Hospital, Hôtel de Dieu de France, Lebanese Red Cross and to the Lebanese Army who will handle their redistribution to other hospitals. With the support of its affiliate CEVA Logistics, the Group will also ensure the delivery of Covid-19 kit tests destined for the Lebanese government, on board of the same flight specially chartered from China.

Through this donation and logistical support, the Group stands with Lebanon to fight this unprecedented sanitary crisis, and reiterates more than ever its commitment and solidarity to all Lebanese during this difficult period.
