Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met the President of Pakistan on Tuesday (October 15).
The visit is part of a five-day trip to the country for the royal couple.
They aim to build ties and address challenges such as climate change and access to education.
Prince William and Catherine also met Prime Minister Imran Khan, a former international cricket star who Prince William played cricket with in London as a child...
And visited a school in Islamabad, where they sat and spoke to school children.
Kate wore a blue silk shalwar kameez, the national outfit of Pakistan - a loose tunic worn over trousers.
Many on social media and in the fashion industry had been hoping she would don the outfit, which Princess Diana had worn during visits to the country in the 1990s.
The couple are the first members of the British royal family to visit Pakistan in more than a decade.
Kensington Palace said the trip is the most complex the pair have undertaken due to security and logistical issues.
Public details about the tour are limited - but William and Catherine are due to travel the north and west of the country.
