CAIRO- The lowest offer in Wednesday's international tender by Egypt's state agency GASC to purchase at least 30,000 tonnes of imported soyoil was $728 a tonne c&f, traders said.

GASC has separate tenders for imported and Egyptian-produced vegetable oils.

No purchase has yet been made and a decision is expected later in the day, traders said.

These offers were made in the tender in dollars a tonne c&f in the import tender, traders said, with facilities meaning payment in 180 days:

ADM 11,000 tonnes sunflower oil at $705.00 (with facilities for 180 days) 30,000 tonnes soyoil at $728.00 (with facilities 180 days) Aston 11,500 tonnes sunflower oil at $699.00 (with facilities 180 days) Hakan 6,000 tonnes soyoil at $733.33 (with facilities 180 days) 11,000 tonnes sunflower oil at $716.21 (with facilities 180 days) Combined offer: 20,000 tonnes soyoil at $733.33 and 10,000 tonnes sunflower oil at $716.21

Separate tender for Egyptian-produced vegetable oils:

Alex Co. for Seeds 30,000 tonnes soyoil at 11,200 Egyptian pounds equivalent to around $691.75 3,500 tonnes sunflower oil at 11,400 Egyptian pounds equivalent to around $704.14 Watanya 3,000 tonnes soyoil at 11,400 Egyptian pounds equivalent to around $704.14 UCCMA 10,000 tonnes soyoil at 11,300 Egyptian pounds equivalent to around $697.96 One other offer was disqualified as it was not valid for 48 hours.
