Cairo –The Egyptian Exchange's (EGX) Listing Committee approved listing shares of Fawry Banking and Payment Technology Services (Fawry) with a capital of EGP 353.65 million.

A total of 707.3 million shares will be listed at a nominal value of EGP 0.50 apiece, the Egyptian bourse said in a statement on Monday.

Fawry decided to list around 36% of the company’s shares on the EGX, Fawry’s financial manager Abdel Meguid Afifi revealed.

Moreover, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) acquired 7% of Fawry’s shares to be listed on the Egyptian bourse, the bank’s vice chairman Yehia Aboul Fotouh told Mubasher.
