Workers at food establishments in Sharjah must take a PCR Covid test every two weeks, the municipality has announced.

Fully vaccinated workers are exempted from the requirement.

Stickers must be displayed at eateries and other establishments to show that the workers have taken the vaccine or have a negative PCR test result.

The Sharjah City Municipality has intensified inspection visits to food establishments to ensure their compliance with Covid safety measures.

Tables must be placed at least two metres apart and no more than four people are allowed at a table.
