ArabFinance: Saudi Arabias Ministry of Interior lifts COVID-related travel ban on a number of countries as of May 17th, including Egypt, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on May 16th.

Egyptian travelers must receive two full doses of the COVID-19 vaccination, or one dose with at least 14 days having elapsed since the shot was administered.

Travelers under the age of 18 must to undergo a one-week quarantine period.

The ministry reasserts the citizens on the continuation of the ban of travel, directly or indirectly through a third country, without a prior permission from the pertinent authorities, to the following counties: Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, Turkey, Armenia, Somalia, Democratic Congo, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Belarus, and India, and any other country that is yet to control the pandemic.
