Bahrain yesterday recorded 454 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 529 recoveries and a fatality.

A 92-year-old Bahraini man died yesterday, taking the toll to 98.

The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 454 new cases, 273 were expatriate workers, 179 contacts of local cases and two travel-related.

It said that an additional 529 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 25,178.

The ministry added that of the 4,545 active cases, 39 are receiving treatment and 54 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered 29,821 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths. The kingdom has also conducted 612,096 tests for Covid-19.
