ArabFinance: The first flight from Hungary’s capital Budapest arrived in Hurghada city in the Red Sea governorate on July 12th, according to a statement by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Egypt.

A total of 123 travellers will spend about 14 days in Makadi Bay in Hurghada, marking the first Hungarian tourists to visit Egypt following the resumption of air traffic on July 1st.

Meanwhile in South Sinai governorate, four flights coming from Ukraine and Belarus landed in Sharm el Sheikh.

Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada, combined, welcomed 48 flights arriving from Switzerland, Ukrain, Belarus, and Hungary since tourism was back to normal in the coastal cities.

Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar Enaba recently said the resumption of flights to Taba International Airport is subject to investors’ contribution.
