Muscat: National campaign to vaccinate school students aged 12 and above against COVID-19 has commenced in Oman, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education.

"The Ministry of Health also continues to vaccinate target groups with the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine, provided it has been ten weeks or more since the first dose," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.

The ministry stresses the need to pre-book appointments before heading to the immunisation centers in order to ensure a safe and accessible vaccination process for all, while also adhering to precautionary measures.
