1262 new coronavirus cases reported in Oman

Among those, 294 new cases were of expats and 968 of Omanis

Muscat: The Ministry of Health has registered 1262 new coronavirus cases in Oman on Tuesday.

Among those, 294 new cases were of expats and 968 of Omanis.

The total cases in the country has now touched 48,997, including 31,000 recoveries and 224 deaths, according to MOH.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
