UAE residents who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will now be able to enter the UAE from six countries including India and Pakistan.

As of August 5, residents travelling from India and Pakistan as well as Sri Lanka, Nepal, Nigeria and Uganda, will be able to enter the UAE providing they are fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to travel.

The move was announced today (Tuesday) in a series of tweets by the UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).

Travellers will need to present a vaccination certificate to be allowed to travel, unless on the NCEMA’s exemption list.
