KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: The decision by Directorate General of Civil Aviation to reduce the number of passengers to 1,000 per day arriving at Kuwait International Airport starts on Sunday 2th January till 6th February.

The Emirates will carry 84 passengers, Turkey 63, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Muscat 42 passengers, Bahrain, Doha 35 passengers (Kuwaiti citizens or expats)

The sources said that instead of shutting down the airport the airlines operating at Kuwait Airport will cancel many flights and others will be scheduled and implemented as per the instructions issued by the health authorities and civil aviation reports Al Anba.

The sources stated that the Ministry of Health decided to withdraw the PCR examination certificate and asked all airlines to contract with private medical centers to carry out examinations for all arrivals, which is difficult to implement by the Kuwait Airways Company, which needs approval from the regulatory authorities before direct contracting, which may take months.
