LONDON - A minister from the British government will be called to parliament later on Monday to answer an urgent question on the procedure for extending the negotiating period covering the country's exit from the European Union.

The urgent question would take place at approximately 1615 GMT, the House of Commons said on Twitter. The Brexit department was unable to immediately confirm who would answer the question on behalf of the government.
