Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s general reserve declined by 4% year-on-year to SAR 469.6 billion in 2019, according to data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).

On a monthly basis, the general reserve went down by 4.3% YoY in December 2019, from SAR 490.47 billion in November.

The Saudi current account dropped to SAR 59.6 billion in 2019, compared to SAR 72.8 billion in the year-ago period.

Moreover, the kingdom’s current account decreased by 3.06% YoY in December 2019, against SAR 57.85 billion in November.
