Citizens and residents will soon be able to apply for their residency permit stickers via post offices.

The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) yesterday said it will launch the service in co-operation with Bahrain Post.

Meanwhile, the public can continue to get the stickers through the NPRA services centres and the kingdom’s exit points during their departure.

Assistant Under-Secretary for the NPRA Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa said it will help speed up application and processing time.

Assistant Under-Secretary for Bahrain Post Shaikh Bader bin Khalifa Al Khalifa said citizens and residents could benefit from the new service by submitting required documents to the post offices to activate the official procedures to enable the resident to get his passport and the sticker.
