KUWAIT CITY: According to official sources from Kuwait International Airport, five new destinations have been added to the “Bil Salama” platform for facilitating the return of domestic workers (Article 20 visa holders) to the State of Kuwait from five different cities, reports Al-Qabas daily.

They said sponsors and travel offices can book packages with flight tickets for the return of domestic workers from Addis Ababa, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

The sources indicated that the instructions issued recently by the health authorities to stop the entry of passengers from India into Kuwait, except after they stay for a period of 14 days in a transit country that is not banned, open the way for the return of domestic workers from multiple destinations without being restricted to their countries but with the implementation of health requirements.

They highlighted that the “Bil Salama” platform, established by the National Aviation Services Company (NAS), is concerned with providing direct flights to Kuwait at a fixed price that is not subject to increase or decrease, three PCR tests, meals and equipped locations for institutional quarantine before handling the domestic workers to their sponsors.
