Saudi Arabia’s cloud-based Point-Of-Sale (POS) startup Prexle completed its seed round of 2.5 million Saudi riyals ($670,000).

In a joint statement, CEO and co-founder, Abdullah Alajlan said: “We’re happy to close our round of investment, which is going to surely help us improve the retail industry in the Kingdom through employing the latest technologies in the point of sale industry.”

However, the statement did not mention the investors involved in the seed round.

Prexle provides POS services for retailers and was founded in 2020. Its software also enables retailers to manage inventory, purchase orders as well as generate reports on sales and tax.
