Riyadh –  The Saudi Arabian Oil Company, known as Saudi Aramco, is expected to increase the production capacity of East-West Pipeline to 7 million barrels per day (mbpd) from 5 mbpd over the coming period, the Senior Vice President for Finance and Development Khalid H Al-Dabbagh said during the company's H1-19 results conference.

The East-West Pipeline, also known as the Petroline, is a 1200 kilometres long pipeline that runs from the Abqaiq oil field in the Eastern Province to the Red Sea.
