Saudi Ministry of Education has announced plans to complete work on 21 school projects worth SR209.7 million ($56 million) and deliver them this month.

These institutions, catering to both boys and girls, in the regions of Riyadh, Makkah, Eastern Province, Madinah, Asir, Tabuk, Jazan , and Najran regions will boast a capacity of over 13,260 students,
reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Ministry of Education said that the new school and education buildings conform to quality standards and create an attractive and stimulating education environment conducive to creativity, stated the report.

It also achieves the ministry's plan to do away with low-quality rented buildings, removing bottlenecks and having separate buildings for different stages of general education, as well as tackling the issue of stalled projects, it added.
