KUWAIT CITY - State Minister for Economic Affairs Mariam Al-Aqeel has affirmed that the project for privatization of North Shuaiba Power Station is ongoing as per plan, indicating that 31 percent of the executive procedures have been completed, reports Al-Rai daily.

In response to a parliamentary question, the minister said the planning stage of the project involved feasibility studies in terms of privatizing aspects related to the landlines and international calls of the telecommunication sector by almost 50 percent, which is the same percentage in the project for conducting feasibility studies for the privatization of the main operators of Ministry of Electricity and Water.
