Riyadh –  The National Unified Procurement Company (NUPCO) has launched its largest warehouse in Saudi Arabia on an area of 300,000 square metres to provide integrated and comprehensive distribution and storage solutions that serve public health sectors.

The launch comes in continuation of NUPCO’s efforts to support government health sectors and provide smart supply chains and high-quality logistical services, according to a press release on Sunday.

The new fully-automated warehouse is located at King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) and was launched in collaboration with Binzagr Company, one of the leading distributors in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.

The current capacity of the warehouse exceeds 50,000 storage pallets.

Moreover, the warehouse includes 56 terminals for loading and unloading containers as well as parking spaces that can receive up to 180 vehicles at a time. It has been built as per the latest international standards and contains advanced machinery to facilitate the storage, distribution, transportation as well as added services operations.

NUPCO is fully owned by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund (PIF).
