Egypt - Ghabbour Auto (GB Auto) announced that its subsidiary Egyptian Vehicles Manufacturing Company - Ghabbour Egypt will not renew the distribution agreement signed with the Chinese Car Manufacturing company and the owner of trademark Geely, according to GB Auto’s statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

The listed company affirms its full commitment towards Geely cars sold through the Egyptian Vehicles Manufacturing Company – Ghabbour Egypt in terms of providing spare parts, performing maintenance services until the Chinese manufacturer is able to find a new local agent who is entitled to represent it within Egypt.

GB Auto launched the two new Chinese Haval cars, Haval H6 and Jolion in the Egyptian market.

The Egypt-based automotive company's main activities include trading, distributing, and marketing of all transportation means, including heavy trucks, semi-trucks, passenger cars, buses, agriculture tractors, and pick-ups.
