ArabFinance: The Agricultural Bank of Egypt is opening current and saving accounts for the clients without any administrative charges nor requiring a minimum limit, Chairman Alaa Farouk said, according to Ahram Gate.

The bank will be issuing debit Meeza pre-paid cards for free, Farouk said, noting that the zero-fee accounts are available during the period from August 9th until the 24th.

He said the bank covers more than 1,200 branches across Egypt.

As part of its contribution to the Egyptian community, the bank approved last April raising the lending value of the corps’ cost to support farmers.
