Saudi Arabia’s Advanced Petrochemical Company on Wednesday said its unit Advanced Global Investment Company (AGIC) signed engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts with Tecnimont S.p.A and Tecnimont Arabia Ltd. to build two polypropylene (PP) plants in Jubail for a total value of $485 million.

The PP plants, including product handling area, have a capacity of 400,000 tons per annum each.

The project is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2024.
