KUWAIT CITY - The remittances of Filipino expatriates in Kuwait have increased by $77.7 million during the first nine months of this year, reaching a total of $562 million, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

This is an increase of 16 percent when compared to the remittances of $482.5 million during the same period last year.

Also, the remittances of Filipino expatriates in other GCC countries have declined by 7.5 percent, reaching $4.34 billion during the first nine months of 2019, when compared to the remittances of $4.69 billion during the same period last year.
