Cairo –  German investments in Egypt reached $7.4 billion, the Egyptian minister of investment and international cooperation said in a statement on Tuesday.

In addition, development cooperation between the two countries is valued at $2.4 billion, Sahar Nasr added.

Nasr, along with other Egyptian ministers, discussed with German officials the means to step up cooperation in several sectors including energy, renewable energy, sustainable development, and infrastructure projects.
