Manama: Zain Bahrain, a telecommunications industry innovator in the Kingdom, announced the sponsorship of ‘Fusion’, a joint poetry and artistic exhibition under the patronage of the Culture Directorate, carried out by noteworthy artist, Areej Rajab and Poet En. Bader Al Ruwaihi. Zain Bahrain, as a title sponsor of the exhibition aims to support art and creativity and encourage artists, especially Bahraini youth in the Kingdom, by sponsoring the exhibition.

An opening ceremony was held on 10th of November, post which the exhibition has been open to the public from 11th – 24th November from 9.00 am till 8.00 pm at the Bahrain Arts Centre. Bringing contemporary art and poetry into dialogue, the exhibition will showcase a minimum of 15 artworks on canvas along with a collection of poems to be launched in collaboration with art. The exhibition is focused on the main theme of the harmonious talk of art, the ‘Rose’ or the ‘Flower’, chosen as the main abstract subject.

Stemming from Zain Bahrain’s corporate social responsibility program, sponsorships of this ilk affirm the company’s commitment to support the role of art, promoting of Bahraini artists and poets, and enhancing dialogue among art and literary enthusiasts that highlight Bahrain’s rich art and culture scene. Zain Bahrain intends to attract a broad and diverse audience to the exhibition and has invited creative talent attending to paint, write, perform, read, or present in visual form an original work of poetry in response to the common artwork adding some transparent philosophical reflections for the receiver to interpret.
