Doha: Qatar Foundation will be bringing together expert voices in a global discussion on two key global themes – education and sustainability – at the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), as it contributes to crucial conversations that aims to reach out to the world.

From September 19-22, Qatar Foundation (QF) will host four virtual sessions on the sidelines of UNGA and Global Goals Week. They will explore how the potential of youth can be harnessed to drive action on climate change; how digital credentialing and recognition systems can broaden the range and quality of learning opportunities; how to create a more progressive approach to climate change education that empowers people to elevate their green innovation skills; and how edtech could benefit from impact investing.

The sessions are open to the public and can be watched by registering at www.qf.org.qa/unga, where more information about the events is available. They will also be livestreamed on QF’s Twitter and LinkedIn channels.

Aligning with the theme of the 76th Session of UNGA, which is ‘Building resilience through hope – to recover from COVID-19, rebuild sustainability, respond to the needs of the planet, respect the rights of people, and revitalize the United Nations’, QF’s events aim to showcase its willingness to engage in the biggest global conversations, leverage its ecosystem to share expertise and insight with the world, and bring people together with the aim of finding ways of overcoming challenges.
