Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE, has opened opened its 23rd outlet in the Dubai's Jumeirah 1st area as part of its expansion plans.
 
Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO of Union Coop said that despite the challenges created by the pandemic, the Coop was able to transform challenges into investment opportunities.
 
The new branch was built at a cost of 42 million UAE dirhams ($11.4 million) with a total built-up area of 105,533 square feet.
 
Last month, Union Coop had opened two outlets in Al Barsha 3 and Al Barsha South at a cost of 45 million dirhams ($12 million) and 60 million dirhams ($16 million) respectively. The Al Barsha South branch has a total built-up area of 232,000 square feet.
