Abu Dhabi: Waha Capital PJSC, a leading investment company in Abu Dhabi (ADX: WAHA), announced today that Ahmed Khalifa Al Mehairi has been appointed in succession to Amr AlMenhali as CEO of the company.

During his tenure as CEO, Amr AlMenhali delivered on a transformational turn-around strategy and mapped out a transition plan designed to build on Waha Capital’s growth trajectory.

Amr AlMenhali will assume a senior role within Abu Dhabi.

Ahmed Khalifa Al Mehairi joins Waha Capital from the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, where he has been a Principal at the Global Special Situations Department. He previously worked in the field of equities investment at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). He is also currently a Board member at Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company. Ahmed Khalifa Al Mehairi will join Waha Capital on 18 October 2020.
