Zayani Motors - Ma’ameer, Kingdom of Bahrain: During their official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain recently, a delegation from Mitsubishi and Daimler and Fuso manufacturers of Mitsubishi cars from Japan was received by Al Fateh Group. During the meeting, a deal worth more than USD500,000 was inked between both parties.

The deal was signed by Mr. Olaf Peterson, GM of Mitsubishi and Daimler and Fuso manufacturers of Mitsubishi cars from Japan, and Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al Moussawi, CEO of Al Fateh Group.

Through this deal, Al Fateh, represented by its Heavy Transport and Customs Clearance and Logistics Division, will purchase a number of new heavy vehicles with a total value of more than USD 500,000 from the Japanese manufacturer.

This agreement comes with the aim of reinforcing the Group’s heavy trucks’ fleet, and to also enhance the heavy transport operations of imported and exported containers from and to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The meeting, which was attended by officials from Zayani Motors; the exclusive dealer of Mitsubishi Fuso in the Kingdom of Bahrain, also witnessed the discussion of several topics of mutual interests, such as bilateral relations and means of enhancing business cooperation.

On the occasion, Mr. Al Moussawi commented: “It has become an annual habit that we only choose the Fuso Mitsubishi cars brand to reinforce our fleet in heavy transport. That is because of its high quality and advanced technology, which is derived from the progressive Japanese industry.”

For his part, Mr. Peterson delivered a presentation shedding light on the latest technologies and features utilised in Mitsubishi Fuso trucks, adding that such advanced specifications strengthened the brand’s position on the top of the best-performing heavy vehicles’ list across the world.

Al Fateh Group CEO and management team expressed thanks and appreciation to Mr. Peterson and presented him with a gold-plated memento as a token of gratitude and appreciation for his efforts and services.
