The Expo Centre Sharjah will once again offer a breath-taking array of precious jewellery, diamonds and luxury watches produced by the world’s finest brands at the 47th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, the largest and longest running event of its kind.

The Show will open its doors to lovers of luxury jewellery and watches early October from 1 to 5, showcasing the highest levels of elegance, affinity and artistic creativity in designs.

Through its 46 editions organised over the past 26 years, the bi-annual event has transformed itself into a fantastic and unmatched regional and international hub for displaying the finest and most spectacular watches and jewellery.

Supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the exhibition provides local and international companies and brands unparalleled platform to introduce their innovative designs to visitors, especially those fond of everything new in the world of jewellery and watches.

HE Saif Al Midfa, CEO Expo Centre Sharjah, said: “The Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show has grown to be an indispensable part of the jewellery industry and the flagship event of Expo Centre Sharjah, which is very keen to constantly develop its events and activities to meet the diverse needs of gold and jewellery lovers”.

“The show is expected to witness impressive participation of more than 500 exhibitors & brands from across the world, over an area of 30,000-square-metres, making it one of the largest shows in terms of occupied exhibition space in the world of specialised exhibitions. This reflects the trust the show has gained from local, regional and international brands, thanks to becoming a dedicated platform for showcasing exclusive and limited collections and pieces” Al Midfa added.

He stressed that the exhibition has gained a leading position in the global jewellery market and warmly welcomes new exhibitors from around the world. The National Pavilions at the show will feature six countries--Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Singapore & Thailand, helping visitors explore some of the finest gold and diamond jewellery unique to these countries.

A major chunk of new exhibitors from Bahrain, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkey and from the local UAE jewellery industry will also help visitors to pick and choose the finest jewellery.

Special Pavilion for Emirati Designers

Sultan Shattaf, Director Sales & Marketing at Expo Centre Sharjah pointed that The show will also provide young Emirati designers the opportunity to display their new collections besides prominent international exhibitors through a special pavilion in bid to foster local talent.

He reaffirmed that the autumn edition of the show will be unlike other previous ones thanks to the constant development policy adopted by the Centre, which does improve the status of the event year after year.

“As with every edition of the show, fabulous prizes await the lucky shoppers, starting from the mega raffle for a kilo of gold on the final day of the show to daily prizes on every purchase of Dhs 500. Besides, all general visitors registering onsite will also be entered into a raffle draw to win an 18K diamond ring”, Shattaf further said.

Introducing Designers’ Pavilion

Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show, has introduced an exclusive Designers’ Pavilion which will feature the most stylish and exquisite jewellery creations from renowned designers, making it easy for visitors to get exclusive designs from the most famous designers of top jewellery and diamond makers.  

Informative Seminars

 The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and International Gemological Institute (IGI) will hold seminars run by some of the top experts who will furnish visitors with essential information on gemstone jewellery, diamonds and pearls in addition to how to read reports, ratings and advise when buying jewellery”.
