Dubai: voco™ Dubai, an IHG® Hotel, the first and foremost voco™ Hotel in IMEA announces the appointment of Fady Atwan as Director of Sales and Marketing made effective 1st August 2019. The 471-room hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road rebranded 1st April earlier this year after a comprehensive refurbishment of the property. Fady Atwan, an Egyptian national with a Bachelor of Commerce, brings with him more than 17 years wealth of sales and marketing experience in the hotel industry. An ambassador of IHG®, he formerly served as Area DOSM for IHG® Abu Dhabi and DOSM of InterContinental Abu Dhabi, where his team was identified for achieving the highest RGI growth in AMEA. Prior to this, Fady held senior sales positions in Dubai for IHG®, and other notable luxury brands across a span of 7 years, earning him numerous accolades.  

Fady will now progressively heighten existing and implement new sales and marketing structures aimed at yielding higher profit and growing market share for the property amid these highly competitive times. In his role, he is also responsible for strengthening the hotel's existing partnerships, keeping an eye on new and emerging markets and promoting brand awareness.
