Bahrain’s Ministry of Housing (MoH) is studying the feasibility of developing 3,240 apartment units in Al Ramli district with Eskan Bank under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.

The project would be completed in the fourth quarter of 2020, according to the Ministry’s 2018 achievements report.

The Ministry said contracts awarded for Al Ramli District includes infrastructure works to a single contractor and 1,261 villas to four contractors that together constitute 28 percent of the project.

The 100-acre mixed-use social housing project would deliver a total of 4,501 units under the Government Action Plan 2015-2018 which aims to supply 40,000 housing units to citizens.
