The Awards presented major recognitions to landmark achievers and leaders in their field from across the Middle East region and the world.

As the ‘Transport Solutions Provider of the Year,’ Serco, which is renowned for its global expertise in the design, setting up, operation, and maintenance of heavy rail, light rail, ferry and road traffic, was specifically bestowed with the coveted title for its integrated and reliable solutions extended to Dubai Metro and for its range of critical air navigation services.

Hallgate said: “Serco is honored to receive this prestigious recognition at the inaugural Awards. The judges’ trust and confidence in our capabilities and expertise further inspire our organization to consistently innovate as we seek to enhance the transport services in the region.  Serco Middle East is committed to offering solutions to meet the highest international standards of quality and excellence. As we constantly strive for improvements and innovations, we continue to deliver excellence in punctuality, reliability and customer experience across the transport systems we operate.”

Serco has a long-standing history in the Middle East, where it currently operates numerous transport contracts, the largest two being the Dubai Metro and our partnership for air navigation services at Dubai Airports.

Serco is proud of its relationship with the RTA and our involvement in the Operations and maintenance of the Dubai Metro since it started in 2009.  The system has grown from strength to strength and is now a primary mode of travel within Dubai carrying over 600,000 people every day.  We are equally proud to have been providing Air Navigation Services in Dubai since 1973.  Over the last 45 years air travel has developed enormously, and Serco has been at the forefront of innovations to cater for this growth as Dubai Airports have taken their place amongst the world’s elite.
