Dubai – Egemen Adiyaman, 39 years old, has been appointed After Sales Director of Audi Middle East and Chris Gale, 27 years old, has also been assigned a newly created role for the subsidiary as Digitalization Manager.

Egemen Adiyaman began her professional career in 2001 in her home country of Turkey at Ford joint venture. Later she worked as After Sales Country Manager for Toyota Motor Europe and also as After Sales Regional Manager for Mitsubishi Motors Europe. Before joining Audi Middle East, she held the role as General Manager of Aftersales for Infiniti Middle East, where she established the After Sales Division for the Middle East region. With over 15 years of experience in the international automotive industry, Egemen Adiyaman joins Audi Middle East, where she will head the Audi After Sales business for 11 Middle East markets.

On accepting her appointment with Audi Middle East, Egemen Adiyaman commented: “Audi has always stood for premium and progressiveness and I am proud to be part of the Audi Middle East organization. Egemen holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bogazici, Turkey and has accomplished a Management Acceleration Programme from INSEAD.

She was raised bilingual and speaks Turkish and English fluently. During her career, Egemen has lived in four different countries and worked with over 45 different nationalities.

In her leisure time she enjoys running and swimming and has a passion for literature.

After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Management from the University of Liverpool, Chris Gale started his career with Volkswagen Group UK in 2012. He soon joined the Audi UK Aftersales team managing accessories and two years later was appointed Digital Manager, where he was responsible for the optimisation and transformation of Audi.co.uk desktop, mobile and e-commerce platforms. In this role, he led the cultural transformation within Audi UK to explore and invest in digital more intelligently and intuitively to meet the changing consumer demand.

Speaking about his position at Audi Middle East, Chris said “Digitalization is more important now than ever before. Consumer behavior is shifting and people are increasingly spending more time on digital platforms consuming digital media. My priority is ensuring Audi elevates itself to offer the best digital experiences, products and services bar none. In this role, I am empowered to create a digitalization strategy that will embrace new technologies to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers, dealers and company users”.

Chris already has a close affinity with the Middle East, having spent his childhood in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia and is looking forward to exploring the wider region in his new role. He is also an enthusiastic lover of golf and has a keen interest in horology.
