Union Properties, a leading property developer in the UAE, said Khalifa Hasan Ali Saleh Al Hammadi was elected as its new chairman by acclamation at its board meeting held this week, while Fathi Ben Abdul Sattar Ben Grira won the vice chairman's post (by majority through secret voting).

The other new board members are: Dahi Yousef Ahmed Abdulla Al Mansoori; Jorg Klar; Mohamed Fardan Ali Al Fardan; Darwish Abdulla Ahmed Al Ketbi and Abdul Wahab Al Halabi.
 
Al Hammadi was appointed as the Vice Chairman and CEO of Union Properties last year. He is also chairman of Gulfa Mineral Water and Manufacturing Industries Company.
