The National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), announced the expansion of its fleet by adding a new vessel.

NPCC invested more than 330 million dirhams ($89.85 million) in the new vessel – Delma 2000 - which has a lifting capacity of 1,600 metric tonnes (MT).

“The vessel has proven offshore and subsea construction capabilities and will further enable NPCC to undertake deepwater projects in the region and globally,” the company said in a statement.

NPCC is part of Senaat, one of the UAE’s largest industrial investment holding companies, owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi.
