DUBAI- Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development, and Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce and Industry of India, along with his delegation, have discussed means of cooperation across several areas of mutual interest.

During the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the ministry in Dubai, the delegation viewed the countrys development plans in the areas of infrastructure and ports and discussed the exchange of knowledge in these areas.

Dr. Al Nuaimi received an official invitation to attend and deliver a key speech at the upcoming Ports Logistics Conference that will be held in India, which will witness considerable international participation.

Al Nuaimi highlighted the importance of the exchange of knowledge in various areas of the infrastructure sector, due to its key role in advancing the institutional work of both countries.

He said that the Indian delegations visit reflects the mutual desire of the leadership of both countries to conduct mutual visits and meetings and continue developing their bilateral ties, to serve their mutual interests. These meetings also reflect the directives of the UAE leadership, who are aware of the importance of boosting the UAEs overall bilateral ties with India, he added.

Prabhu congratulated the UAEs leadership and people for obtaining Category B membership to the International Maritime Organisation, IMO, while praising its international reputation in various sectors, including infrastructure and ports.
