Abu Dhabi – The UAE has allocated around AED 3.3 billion to develop domestic power distribution networks, minister of energy and industry Suhail Al Mazrouei said.

The new investments in the electricity sector will be allocated to high-pressure lines, Alroeya newspaper reported, citing Al Mazrouei as saying.

Investments in the power sector will contribute to enhancing domestic transmitting networks, the minister concluded.
